Queenstown - The Adventure Capital of The World
All the way down on the South Island of New Zealand is our Kingdom known as, “The Adventure Capital of The World.” Lying on the shores of the beautiful Lake Wakatipu, the town is home to the stunning Southern Alps. It was previously known as "The Station" and "The Camp," due to it being a center of mining. The current name it holds was a tribute to Queen Victoria since it was deemed as "fit for a Queen" in 1850. Attractions and things to do in Queenstown include Milford Sound, The Remarkables, Shotover River and much, much more! There so many things to do and see that sometimes its difficult to decide, especially if you are on a tight schedule or budget.
